What is the outcome based education process?
Outcome-Based Education, emphasising that learning should be designed backwards from clearly defined outcomes. It explains how institutions must identify competencies and knowledge students must acquire, then craft curriculum, assessments and instructional strategies around those goals. Unlike traditional models that focus on content delivery, OBE prioritises measurable student achievement and real-world readiness. This process helps schools align their teaching with student success, maintain transparency in what learners must know and be able to do, and support continuous refinement of programmes.
